HYPSM would have been amazing, but when my kids realized that if they were accepted to any of those schools we (and they) would have had to take out loans they quickly lost interest and focused on applying to fantastic schools where they can get a great education at a reasonable price. One got a full-tuition scholarship at a T100 school, another was offered $35,000+ scholarships at great LACS (Grinnell, Macalester, Gettysburg, etc).
