I’m not the PP. I just think it’s amusing that it doesn’t seem to bother you in the least that “Milo” and his goons could have co-opted the phrase. You don’t even want to bother examining it, which is supposedly a hallmark of the education you claim to favor.  It suggests that even it was true it doesn’t make you that uncomfortable to be associated with it.

Where I have said that people should abandon schools? What you should be doing is training all of your anger on people like Milo and Mr. classical Christian education to prevent them from taking over your phrase. You just want to live in denial and the next thing you know, it’s going to mean exactly what they want it to mean. You already have doofuses on this thread thinking it means studying classics and not the specific pedagogy, so the sacrosanct nature of your phrase has already been weakened.
