You’re not getting that “liberal arts” as understood now is *not the same thing* as classical education.  Classical education has specific features of pedagogy and content that are inherent to the term. “Liberal arts” just means “not STEM” at this point.

Moreover, you thinking you can solve the supposed neo-nazi takeover of classical education by just *changing the name* is the height of absurdity. Changing a name does nothing; all it does is create a way for people who use the arbitrary correct term to show their moral superiority. That’s it, that’s the entire function.

Conversely, supposed the classical education schools actually *were* being coopted by white nationalist - eg using texts that denied the holocaust, skewed history and medicine to claim race superiority, etc. THAT would be a real problem that has absolutely nothing to do with the name of the pedagogy. PP here. Yes, that is my point. That the other PP is absurd because they aren’t/cannot point to any actual substanive issues. Their entire argument is “Milo used the word classical so you’re racist for doing it too!”[/quote]
