These very same white dudes who tried so hard to prevent effective action to reduce the violence are now quite angry and aggressive about anyone pointing out that’s it’s a problem after the violence has escalated to the point that it’s unsafe to go out with your family for dinner. They now don’t even want people to talk about the violence.
