Ugh, my kid was invited to a skate party at 5 and it was miserable. She was so cold and her butt hurt so much. She hasn't wanted to go skating since and she's 9![/quote]

Also agree. DD was invited to an ice skating party and neither DH or I knew how to skate so we were zero help. She left that party in an ambulance. However, DS also went to an ice skating party but the parents were both on the ice helping the kids who didn’t know how to skate. He had a blast. [/quote]
