They’ve so far avoided most of that and left that to the New York Times, but yeah. They’re making some weird decisions.

Same guy goes on to say he was in charge of oppo for Michael Grimm, another NYC Republican who got elected to Congress and ended up being a walking nightmare who was charged by federal authorities with 20 counts of fraud, federal tax evasion, and perjury and also threatened to throw a reporter over a balcony in the Capitol rotunda when asked about the investigation. Guy kept getting elected, though, lol Staten Island. He ran again after his prison term but lost in the primary.
