I've been prepping for this eventuality for a while. I have friends who call me alarmist and say that the globe is warming much more slowly than I think, but you don't need to be a scientist or a psychic to see which way the (warmer, fiercer) wind is blowing. Crazy some people still think we can adapt, when the Arctic is getting warmer and stormier and hundreds of houses get burned down (or flooded away) every year.
How are you prepping? Serious question
Vasectomy. might sound funny to start with that but when it's just the missus, me and our parents to look after in a crisis, we can plan our resources better. I have stockpile of food, water, first aid, generators, gas masks, and other resources that I've been gathering for a few years. We have our bug out bags and separate vehicle ready, in case our area becomes a national disaster site.
If it's just you, your spouse, and your parents, though, what's the point? You're not leaving anything to children, not a climate disaster, not anything. Might as well live it up. Since your non-existent children will be fine either way.
+1. If I had no kids, I wouldn’t care about climate change at all.
