Agree and faithful Christians know that the Christmas season is a time to recognize and celebrate the birth of our savior. Fine if you want to have a secular winter celebration, but many of us believe that Jesus is the reason for the season. We have the right to acknowledge our faith during CHRISTmas. I hope the children get to do thier performance soon without drama.[/quote]

I'm chuckling over the Christian complaining about her right to celebrate and acknowledge Christmas, which is now basically celebrated openly from Halloween to Dec. 25. God, you're insufferably ignorant.

YOu have the right to do whatever you want regarding Christmas. You don't have the right to impose it on others. You do not have the right to require that your religion or religious beliefs get celebrated in a non-parochial school. If you want all the Jesus-y things, go to Catholic school, sweetie. [/quote]

NP.  I agree with the PP who you are laughing at.  Her post was a direct response to the previous one that was trying to un-Christmas Christmas.  There are lots of secular aspects to the holiday and gift-giving is a nice gesture, regardless of religion or spirituality.  But that doesn't mean that an anonymous poster on DCUM gets to take Christmas out of Christmas.  Nope.[/quote]
