Really?  At the info session we went to at UVA, they made it very clear that the admission rate was significantly higher for ED than RD, and aeA was somewhere in between.  It was part of the power point presentation.[/quote]

They definitely mentioned ED v. RD at the one we attended.  Maybe my memory is wrong about a slide.  But I recall it very specifically because dd was considering applying ED.  They gave the specific numbers for both ED and RD, both in state and out of state.  This info session was this past fall.[/quote]

The most recent Common Data Set for UVA that's available online (2021-22) states that there were 2,197 early decision applicants, of whom 960 were accepted.  That comes out to an acceptance rate of about 44%, which is WAY higher than the overall acceptance rate.
