+1.  For most of us who have club players, our kids aren't going on to D1 volleyball.  Most aren't going to D-anything volleyball.  Find the club that's a good fit and let them have fun.[/quote]
 
Amen! That’s all I want for my kid. She loves volleyball, but realistically she is not be a college recruit and that is fine with me. We like going to tournaments and watching her play and put things in perspective. It’s not thenOlympics. A lot of these kids that get recruited end up in a college that was not their choice and have to sacrifice a lot at college foe the sport. That lowlife is not for everyone [/quote]

I couldn’t agree more with this - I see a lot of D1 commits from this area going to schools I’ve never heard of. Life goes on after volleyball and if my kid can’t use the sport to get into a college that’s better than she could get into with her grades….she’ll be playing club at college.[/quote]

If you are spending 40 k plus on club during HS to get her recruited to a college that is not her choice and not well known? What is the point? Save that money and use it on a year or two on the school she does want to go to.[/quote]
