OP here Mexican cleaners are nice too.  I just don't interact with them as much as I do with neighbors.

It's just hard to believe that the neighbor girl would be risking it with her family being at home this time of the morning. She could have waited a couple of hours when they left to work/school and smoked all she wanted to.

I think the neighbor’s daughter did smell pot coming from across the street, told her mom and the cleaners were embarrassed and lied. That said, I would not have mentioned it because pot is legal, they were smoking it before entering your home, and did the job they were hired to do. I assume you live with other people and they didn’t smell anything either. If these women were caring for your children or elderly parents, you would be justified in have a conversation. That should be done kindly, politely, privately and IN PERSON. No one likes to lose face and these two women live in fear of being arrested. Live and learn. [/quote]
