This. I swear people fall for the Fox News crap way too easily. “Sanctuary city declares emergency over illegals!” Yes, yes indeed. So they can procure resources to help them without a 2-year bidding process. NY has been welcoming the stranger since 1800. It’s part of what makes New York great.

These hick desert towns have been taking care of these people for months if not years. And Adams didn’t state that he was declaring an emergency to release funds to help these new arrivals settle into his sanctuary city. Nope. He said that he is angry, the people of NYC are angry and they didn’t ask for this. 
You and Adams, Bowser and Lightfoot need to wake up. No one asked for this, but Biden isn’t doing anything to stop it. 
If you declare your city a sanctuary be prepared to give sanctuary. It’s not just a lawn sign anymore. [/quote]
