We used to enjoy Inner Harbor, Fells Pt, Little Italy…etc. Baltimore has always had issues, but tourist areas used to be OK. Other than an occasional O’s game, I avoid Baltimore. When the city gets serious about fixing its crime, I will return. To OP, don’t walk to the Poe House. We drove there about twenty years ago. The neighborhood wasn’t the best, but felt relatively safe visiting the house since the Baltimore Police kept a cruiser parked outside during the museum operating hours. That kind of tells you all you need to know about the neighborhood.[/quote]
