He got away. [twitter]https://twitter.com/cfloresnews/status/1575210638078779392?s=21&t=K7q7wPL-4YNDVM5ZWmwFkQ[/twitter]
It does not matter. Without the murder weapon they aren't going to charge. Miller will certainly dispose of the weapon know that he knows he's wanted.
First, how incompetent are the police to let him get away. Second, why do you think they can only charge if they have the murder weapon? This isn’t CSI. They can charge and convict based solely on eye witness testimony.
No jury will convict on murder without the murder weapon. The DA won't even charge in Virginia without the weapon. It gets referred back to the police until the weapon is found.
False. Where do you get this from?
Demonstrably true. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/15/1078569.page
You point to another DCUM thread as proof? Look, it’s one thing to say that perhaps a prosecutor will be reluctant without physical evidence and relying solely on witness testimony. It’s quite another to say that they will only prosecute if they have the recovered the actual murder weapon. I’m sorry but that’s just dumb.
How would you prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Miler killed someone with a gun, if he doesn't have a gun?
Have you been watching too much Poirot? Look, there are various types of physical evidence that can link someone to a crime without a murder weapon. Examples include: DNA, finger prints, gun powder residue, blood. Other relevant evidence that can be entered can connote proof of knowledge of guilt, including flight and attempts to destroy or tamper with evidence, such as use of bleach or trying to intimidate or coerce witnesses. There is also character. And of course, last but not least eye witnesses. Have you even wondered how the police have a suspect in the first place?
