I went a lot in the early 2000s and it wasn't what it had been in its heyday but it was still pretty good--Borders was there, the Cheesecake Factory, Bloomingdales. It was vibrant enough...
Cheesecake Factory is not old white flint. Old white flint was I Magnum, the cobble stone street scape tucked away on the ground floor and the foriginal food court with mushroom decor, fish and chips, individual hand tossed pizza and Chinese chicken salads.
Yes, this was old White Flint. Pappagallo, Cedar Post, Mini Georgetown on the top floor, Over the Rainbow, the bar/restaurant in the middle on the top floor. My father would drop me and my friends off and go up there to read his paper and have lunch. It was the beginning of the end when they brought Payless Shoe Store in.
