Are you open to religious privates?[/quote] we are entering junior high. We are open to religious privates but cost will be a problem plus don't know that world well. It seems significantly less expensive to buy in a good school district than go private. The glamour privates seem out of reach. This has been a very useful thread, thanks to all. The college admission information was very illuminating -- the info I took from it is that you have an excellent shot at a middling university from any of these HSs, and to get into an Ivy your kid will need to be extraordinary regardless of which school they go to.[/quote]
