Many Koreans in the big cities do dress really well. They are beautiful people.
But autistics do not dress well.
Attorney Woo is autistic and dresses notably less stylishly than her coworkers and friends. She is sensitive to textures and labels and fasteners so that limits her sartorial choices.
I thought her suits were adorable. They were less trendy and body conscious, but they looked great. And her casual clothes were so cute, too.
I thought she was supposed to read as frumpy
Frumpy is unattractive. I thought she was dressed as someone who needed to prioritize comfort (because of her sensitivities) but still cared about her appearance. Her grooming was impeccable. The fabrics were beautiful. She was well accessorized (to the nines in her casual litter collection/whale watching clothes!). Her shoes would almost qualify as retro. Absent all of that, the cut of her suits might be considered frumpy, but I think they were just cute.
