Wouldn’t that tend to create an uncomfortable dynamic?[/quote] I would leave.[/quote] I always check ahead of time before bringing my dog into stores, and typically it’s places that are in my neighborhood on one of our walk routes- “e.g. just curious, in the future is it ok for me to bring my dog in with me?” We really just go to a couple of places (coffee, convenience store, hardware store) regularly where I know the staff and they know my dog. I would never just assume it’s OK and walk right in unless it’s a store that is explicitly dog-friendly, either through corporate policy or how they market themselves.[/quote]
