Anonymous posters talk about a politician as “flippant” and “dismissive” — but don’t bother to include receipts. Not to doubt either of you, but to me at least, criticism like this don’t mean very much without some sort of verifiable data to support them. I didn’t vote for Blair for similar reasons. I couldn’t find any genuine evidence of community focused efforts and accomplishments on his part. Once he decided to be a politician, what did he do between elections that would suggest that he’ll be a good one? I share the concerns about politicians who only care about certain groups, rather than all of their constituents. I’d like to be proven wrong though, with Blair.
? What do you want? A copy of the email? I still have it, btw. I pay a sh1t ton in taxes. The least that office could do for me is be respectful of my opinions, right? It starts from the top.
A copy of the relevant passages from the email would be great. Thanks. And I agree that the office staff should treat you respectfully. They should treat everyone respectfully. I’ll add that as constituents, we should treat them respectfully as well.
Oh, my email to them was very respectful, acknowleding the hardships of covid for many (I grew up low income, and I shudder when I think if covid had hit when I was in ES), but they didn't even acknowledge my concerns. They assumed I was a rich person who didn't understand the struggles of the poor. I also stated how proud I was of this county for the high vaxx rate and attempt to adhere to masking prior to the vaxx, but that evidence had been mounting that 1. covid isn't a great risk to children 2. but the extended virtual school did hurt children. No, I don't feel comfortable sharing the email on here.
