I am not obligated to stand and perform some ritual of pledging to a FLAG simply because I was born here. You are not required to have pride for your home country and frankly there’s not a ton to be respectful of. Why would any of us boast Liberty and justice for all in a country founded on slavery that does NOT provide justice or freedom equally to marginalized citizens?
