IIRC most students are not from Texas, but it definitely has a "Texas" vibe

Grew up in DFW and would +1 everything here except "stellar."  I feel like it has a good in-state reputation.  It's not treated as a safety but I've also never heard someone be wowed to find out a high school student got in there or anything.  Also important to realize that TCU has the best mascot in the state.[/quote]
