I wouldn’t opt for a small school nobody has heard of unless your kid needs a small school. Gettysburg is crazy expensive, and it’s not going to register with potential employers the way a state flagship will.

Are you coming from public or private?
My kid with 3.7 us and no ap or honors did not get in Delaware. No Way to UMD college park. But my kid had abysmal sat score and a 1300 is respectable. Make UDel a reach. And if you in MD consider Towson. My education major DD had a great experience. [/quote][/quote]

MCPS public. We were not surprised when she did not get into Delaware or Penn State or Temple, she was below avg student. And Towson was just fine, especially for an education major. She’s working right alongside to those who went to OOS state public and private schools and doing just as well. I forgot to mention that now she is an elementary school teacher in MCPS. [/quote]
