MCPS does not grade like this. :lol: [/quote] They 1000% do grade like this. A kid can get 98's all 4 quarters and another gets an 89.5, a 79.5, and 89.5, and a 69.5. Both equal an A. 4.0 and if it is considered an honors course (which in MCPS world is basically anything non-remedial) than you get a 5.0[/quote] Same here. And my kid is in a middle school magnet. I don't think he is a genius at all. But he says he has done all the work in and in between class. He comes home and plays minecraft before we drag him out and ask him to play outside. [/quote]
