Has the MCPS leadership ever asked themselves how the most sophisticated country, and arguably one of the most highly educated Counties in the richest Country on the globe, could conceive of pursuing an educational strategy, in effect,  putting a cap/ceiling/brake on the ability of children to get a challenging academic program?  This brilliant solution (curiculum 2.0 with children jailed in classrooms of mixed ability) is occurring at a time when we are questioning why multi-lingual children from poorer and less developed lands are intellectually and academically outperforming our children in a century (21st) that will go down in history as the age of Moore's law (and the age of rapid doubling of information/knowledge).  This strategy of trying to walking down an elevator moving in the reverse upward direction will fail and leave the leadership of MCPS with a black eye.[/quote]
