It is some generic essays that check a box. The rest of the requirements are not hard. These standards are not much for creating a pool of "gifted" as it is just stratifying where kids come from in the county. On the plus side it should encourage very smart kids to live or attend middle schools that are rated lower. It increases your odds of acceptance tremendously.[/quote]
