Sidwell holds all of their student to a very high standard, Intellectually and personally. They do their best not to make exceptions for anyone. It is part of the quaker thing of not singling anyone out for praise. This can be a tough on the confidence. .
Not true for the Obama daughters
I think this is supposed to be a slam on Sidwell in some way but can't figure out what the poster even means (other than their general surliness).
Maybe this is more from the "Wikipedia poster" who thinks Sidwell somehow needs to gain control of Wikipedia to delete references to the fact that the Obama children attend Sidwell.
No, I am the Wiki poster and I did not write above. Also, I think the "Sidwell holds all of their students to a high standard.." poster is defending Sidwell, not slamming it. To those who want the best for all of the kids/schools, here is what I say: the schools should under promise and over deliver. I think where people get hurt is they buy into the idealism, and then get stung later on in HS. Many liberals are not closet racists, but some are and you will truly never know until you start sleeping with their daughter on a regular basis.
