I think it’s hard to evaluate NGLL A without looking at the B division. To be the 2028 leagues should be organized like this. Group 1: play every team twice - MDU - Coppermine - Hero’s Green - M&D - Crush Group 2: play every team once HoCo Black NL Stars Light Blue Pride Red Hero’s White FCA Coppermine Blue Renegades CCLax The rest of the teams in A and B that are uncompetitive should be in their own league or just not play travel at all.
We are right back to where we started on this board. To recap, DMV teams (NL, Stars, and Pride) currently have trouble competing in NGLL A division. Most logical solution is for some girls to move teams amongst the three to create a DMV "super team". NL may be out of the picture due to good players moving to Maryland teams this summer. Stars and Pride play Sunday morning and parents will drink a few bloodys then decide which of the teams will be the beneficiary of their collusion. Even though STJ has great facilities, Pride is likely the better landing spot due to being a club on the rise while Stars continues its decline after the corporate takeover. Did I miss anything?
Capital should start at earlier grades. Problem solved.
No. Very different model. High school clubs don't develop talent. Capital practices once a week -- doesn't fit middle school model.
