Thank you. FWIW, the lawyer told me I probably didn't even need him (no criminal record, first time driving without a license, etc), but I am paying for the peace of mind. He seemed to indicate it would be dismissed and told me not to worry. I then contacted the police who issued the citation for a copy, and they told me the same thing. I feel marginally better. Appreciate it.

Why haven’t you responded to everyone instructing you to get your license renewed asap?  Have you done that? Are you planning to? Is there a reason you aren’t acknowledging that repeated advice? [/quote]
