It doesn't appear that she had a sexual relationship with the high school friend who helped her. Yes, it's possible he lied when he said they didn't have a romantic relationship, but he admitted to everything else so I don't see any reason why he would lie about that. And it only makes him look weirder that there was no romance. The bruising and the branding seemed so over the top and given her past history of self harm, it makes me wonder if somehow this was what was fueling her. Regardless, she has some serious psychological issues. [/quote]
