Thanks![/quote] OP, I don't know if you are new to the area or new to private schools, but you may face long odds getting your child into a school for 6th grade next year. Admissions just wrapped up the process about a month ago. There were a tremendous number of applications for private school due to lingering issues (post?) COVID. Some schools took fewer students than previous years because too many accepted their offers last year. Lots of waitlists and rejections. If you are a full pay and have high-powered connections, use them. There's always an outside chance of landing a slot because parents get transferred or change their minds about private school, etc. Just go into this with low expectations. As others have stated, you may have some luck with K-8 schools, but then you have to go through the headache of applying out for 9th. [/quote]
