This is getting ridiculous. How does this outfit argue that they care about students when they are screwing with the class of 2026 decisions? Shut up and get out of the way.
FCPS could have accepted Judge Hilton's ruling instead of appealing and wasting time. Sue them!
It takes less time to appeal a ruling that has no basis in case law than it does to design a brand new admissions process with no guidance from the Judge on how to do so.
If FCPS cared about the students they would have accepted the decision and gone back to the previous process. but this is more about the FCPS board's false ego.
They can't go back to the previous process since the exam no longer exists. The judge's order was vague, in that there is no guidance there on what part of the current admissions process is problematic, so it's not like they can address the problematic parts and continue the process.
Such a lame excuse. There are obviously numerous math exams FCPS could use in the TJ admissions, instead of the one that ceased to exist. But that would take away their power to base the admissions on RACE and return them to MERIT criteria, Ouch. The biggest bigots in this school system sit on the FCPS board. The dont believe people of color can pass the test. And this is how we ended up in this mess.
Obviously any change that FCPS proposed would be contested and litigated by C4TJ. Jeez.
Any illegal, discriminatory and racist policies will be challenged obviously unlike you who would take any BS bull crap from anybody.
