APS was at 30 cases yesterday and is over 20 so far this morning. As long as sick kids stay home I'd expect those numbers to go back down next week. This was to be expected imho and the only thing to worry about is the parents who don't care and send their sick kids in to spread it around the whole class.
This is why my children are still masking. Parents who don't really care if a dozen other children have to miss 10 days of school because they caught Covid from a classmate are going to contribute to the spread here. It's pure selfishness and a complete lack of consideration for the public good.
This is exactly why my kids are still testing and masking. I am not worried about having covid and being sick, I am worried about having kids out of school for a week or more. I can’t get a babysitter or send kids to grandparents if they are positive.
