Incredibly weird. Once your kids hit the teen years you will not want to share a room with them. I can 100% guarantee they won't want to share with you.
You can't 100% guarantee anything. Just back from a trip to NYC where we had a blast and *gasp* shared a tiny room with our 18yo. He's planning our next trips.
Amen. My 16 yo DD just shared the bed with me the other night while DH was traveling. Her, me, and the dog. She was in a funk and didn't want to be alone. I also don't care all that much if she didn't want to share a room with us on vacation -- but it's just the 3 of us, so a second room seems super indulgent -- we'd probably put DH in it by himself to be honest! I've been married 23 years -- a short break from the snoring is not a big deal. Not luck we cuddle or do anything in on vacation anyway. I would feel to weird about that if DD was in an adjoining room anyway.
