[/quote] Is administrative work what you want to do? I really don't think you can blame your 20-something choices for this situation if you're unhappy in an admin job after 13 years in the workforce. Admin jobs can translate into corporate skills easily - operations, human resources, chief of staff type jobs. Or, I've worked with a lot of admins who chose a function in the org, told their boss, aligned themselves with it by picking up extra projects, and then moved into it after a few years of good admin service. Have you talked to your boss about your long term goals? Have you applied to admin jobs in orgs with better growth potential?[/quote]
