As with any objective you're trying to accomplish, if you don't follow the proper steps, you may get an unplanned and undesired outcome. If you feel too intimidated by the dog to assert your authority over it, that's a problem with your confidence. You can build that up with practice. Try starting with stopping a smaller breed like a chihuahua from charging you, then gradually work your way up. [/quote]
