Sounds like mine. They are probably classmates. I posted earlier. High stats magnet, nmsf, 5s on aps, national awards, all state orchestra,  professional theatre, sports captain, club pres. So disappointing that they weren't even deferred! 
Mine is getting some good feedback from some rd schools,  albeit 2 safeties,  but another is a top tier LAC (based on arts supplement).Trying to get mine excited about the honors houses and safeties.

My DD from magnet school rejected from top 2 EA schools, accepted in Georgia tech, and UMD honors. Her EA school is her dream school and is now waiting on Ivy results. Very high stats, perfect SAT's , many AP"s with full scores, chorus singer performed in Carnegie Hall past 2 years, NMSF and now Presidential Scholar nominee. [/quote]
