What? Don't be silly.  Skaters country shop all the time.  It's perfectly rational to decide, if I compete for country X, I'm unlikely to get out of sectionals as the competition is too stiff.  But if I go compete for country Y, I'm likely to place in top three nationally, which means a trip to the Worlds or Olympics, plus probably cheaper and more abundant ice time.  It happens all the time! And unless you're new to this game, the US did the same for Tanith Belbin, who is Canadian, by not only giving her American citizenship but freaking EXPEDITING it so she could represent the US at the Olympics, where it would have finished out of medals without her.  Come on.  Enough with the chest thumping.  You don't understand this game. [/quote]
