I can’t find the words to tell you how useless I find restorative justice. I’m a teacher in a school that has been using it for years. Your link above praises RJ for helping kids feel “true accountability” for their actions. Nonsense. It usually means the student gets to avoid accountability while the student’s victim has to go through an awkward, useless exercise knowing there will be no real resolution. I’m looking forward to the day we move away from RJ.[/quote]

If RJ was working, we wouldn't have as many  issues  as  we do.  We need to start with mandatory  parenting classes and holding parents  accountable  for their kids behavior.[/quote]
