Not sure why you connect that with skinny. Only women who simply don't that curve at any weight have fat pancake asses. That's how they are built. Same with boobs. There are a lot of overweight women who don't have bubble butts or a nicely defined bust, and many others that do.
Yes, can confirm that I was a flat person at size 12, I am a flat person at size 2, and I was a flat person at every size in between. Even though it is apparently "gross" to not have a nice ass or boobs, this is how I'm built. I grew up with a skinny mom who passive-aggressively fat-shamed me for weighing 120 pounds in high school and definitely contributed to the ED I had in college. The skinny moms who are skinny because of lifelong borderline eating disorders really need to look out for their daughters.
This is interesting. No one wants there teen to be overweight- or have an eating disorder. But food, weight, portions need to be taught and talked about. There is no way around it. Public schools pass out “free” chocolate milk and cinnamon buns for breakfast (or some other sugar filled poor food option), lunch options are equally bad. Your child is surrounded constantly with more or less unlimited processed junk food as tweens and teens no matter what you do. They have to learn to say no to those foods at times and if they do eat them to limit the amount. Our parents didn’t have to deal with this quite as much. I do think you can do this in a factual way without causing an eating disorder- at least I hope!
