[/quote] My kid is waiting to hear (rejections so far), and I disagree with this. They come when they come, and people are excited. For us adults, I think it's totally fine. I am happy to see my friends' kids getting in to great schools. Sometimes a little jealous, but that's life. Mine will do well wherever she goes, and my friends will be happy for her whenever we know something. I do think this is a little different for the kids. I am thinking about me and my friends.
