[/quote] Whitney was the the first or one of the first stars to lend her voice to the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa. After she lent her support and voice to the movement, others followed behind. It started with the students and artist. The boycotting is what caused South Africa to reverse course. Perhaps you don't consider that charitable enough, but millions of South Africans of all races would disagree. [/quote]
