Curious to those complaining, leaving aside beliefs on mask effectiveness or whatever, do any of you have kids who actually complain about wearing them? Mine put theirs on and don't think twice and often forget they're wearing one such that I remind them they can take it off. I, on the other hand, find them stifling and irritating and can't wait to take mine off.
My 12yo hates wearing masks. According to her no one can hear her, it makes her break out, and she gets super sweaty. She also finds it hard to breathe with one sometimes.
Everyone hates wearing a mask but we do it to protect ourselves and others.
I agreed with this pre-vaccine. Now, there is no reason to (badly) mask a 3 yr old for parts of the day to “save grandma”. My 2 year old screams every time a mask gets close to his face. Why? Because it’s not natural to block your airways even a tiny bit for long parts of the day. Even 2 year olds get that. Not to mention the concerns about a 2 year old’s development. Why can’t we just follow the WHO? Why is this the one thing the CDC is insane about?
