I was under the impression that that dashboard was updated every Wednesday and the updates PERCENTAGE totals would be every day at 7. I can’t be the only one. Their communication is misleading at best.
No one knows what's going on or what to expect and it's made worse by communications that appear very clear but in fact were misleading. Total disaster.
They are literally causing so much anxiety and mental anguish at this point.
Agree. It almost feels intentional. They seem to like drama.
I wonder how much of this communication disaster is the work of the $130/ hr communication expert they hired.
OMG did they? I was just thinking they need a professional because the leadership can't handle simple communications. I got bombarded with robocalls, texts, and emails last year during covid. They can't do the same with simple, clarifying messages about what's going on? I really, really do not understand what's going on with them. It's like they are all passed out drunk in a back room somewhere, saying f*!* this.
Meanwhile many of us are fine with their recent communication, have assessed the risk for our kids/family, made a decision about whether to send them to school and moved on.
I don't even know what that means. My high schooler doesn't have teachers in two classes. At all. There is no adult supervision. This isn't about assessing risk. This is about the farce that they can keep schools operational and safe. And I don't mean from a health perspective. COVID doesn't bother me at the high school level with masks and vaccines. I mean actual learning, actual physical safety when assaults are up at most schools. Kids are just skipping and smoking weed and slap boxing in the bathrooms all day. "if" they decide to even go.
