No. I posted earlier to say that I was unhappy with any elected official who did a poor job containing viral spread. And you know what that means? Practically all of them. They're all incompetent idiots because they can't bring themselves to bring down the hammer fast enough with Covid restrictions to nip spread in the bud early enough, so that hospitals aren't too overwhelmed. They don't have the political guts, none of them. They wait until their voters see the consequences of inaction before implementing minimal measures, in order to preserve political capital. And all the sheep are happy that they can go about their day as normal... meanwhile those who need hospital care are left out in the cold, and states record thousands of excess deaths.

It's sickening. If we were truly a civilized society, we'd be happy to live with some restrictions during the worse of the surges, and socialize as normal when cases are low. But no. We can't have nice things because everything is done too late, and we never learn for the next variant.

So yes, Hogan is Covid-incompetent, not because he's a Republican, but because he's a political animal like the rest of them.[/quote]
