Nobody wants anything to shut down again (it's not realistic long term anyway) so why doesn't Hogan just restrict indoor dining, gyms, etc to those who are vaccinated? That's what Chicago is doing. Maybe if these people had actual consequences, they'd go get vaccinated. [/quote]

Because of the mandates, I noticed all my NYC friends were very confident about going to restaurants, Broadway shows, etc. Most of them also got covid.

Whereas me, hiding in my house for the month of December? No covid.

You're missing that most people, without a mandate, have done these things without a mask! Please don't insinuate that mask mandates spread more virus. That is untrue.[/quote]

Mask mandates don't spread the virus. Masks work very well. However, thinking that you have magic immunity when you take your mask off to eat in a restaurant is magical thinking.

New York restaurants require vax proof for indoor dining. (Although I don't think they actually could mandate that the staff get vaxxed. Dining and kitchen staff in NYC have no rights whatsoever and turnover has always been ridiculous... Not to mention the number of undocumented...
