Of course I have all the caveats for illness, disease, injury, childbirth, etc. But not even thinking about weight or physical appearance, I couldn't be attracted to someone who doesn't keep themselves healthy, which absolutely includes regular exercise.
Uhmm...you can regularly exercise and be healthy and still not be slim. I run 20-25 miles a week, play basketball and soccer with my kids, have normal cholesterol and blood pressure, and have no joint issues, and I am 5'8" and 190 lbs at 45 years old. I think I look fine, but I certainly don't meet DCUM standards, and I am not one of the hot moms.
I could never be attracted to someone who lacks reading comprehension.
I’m sorry. I just get tired of the narrative that weight and health are tightly correlated.
+1. Many people exercise daily and are within the normal BMI range, and they are not slim. I run/lift weights 4x a week. I’m at the top of my BMI range and look chubby. Weight has so more to do with food. I can’t stay on a diet, so I’ll never lose weight. Luckily my spouse doesn’t care. I feel bad for people who feel like their partner would lose interest if they gained weight.
