Haha, you guys are being duped. First off, that’s just terrible management if you have to do a mass layoff of 4x as many people to nab some scofflaws. Second, where was their management, 2 hrs a day, they should have been canned a long time ago.

As a small startup, they probably don't have the means to monitor everyone's laptop quickly. This was probably a long drawn out process.

They have $1B in cash on balance sheet, they can pay the $4/year monitoring software fee.
