Not remotely surprising. Other than BI no WCAC team has ever been at level of best ISL.  Catholic schools don’t do as well in the niche sports as they do in more mainstream ones like basketball. [/quote]

Well I think the preppy/waspy sports are probably Lacrosse. Crew. Squash. Field hockey. ?

Niche would imo be more like fencing, equestrian eventing, sailing but those are fairly waspy too.

So Visi and SR are both Catholic and top lax schools but in ISL not WCAC.  Difference seems to be the ISL Catholics are the wealthier, more academic and competitive schools?  Idk. I’ve always wondered why those few -Visi SR and HC - Catholic schools are in ISL instead if WCAC?  Seems maybe just more similar culture to ISL?  Higher median HHI? More competitive admissions?  More rigorous academics?  Better at the upper crust sports? All of the above?  🤔[/quote]
