I didn't say I speak for all Catholics--I didn't even say it's MY opinion.   I say that with the Catholics that I talk to, there is not a favorable opinion of Jesuit schools.   This is a different attitude from what I encourtered 20-30 years ago.[/quote]

Nope, I’m the one with the super conservative mom who jokes Jesuit’s are not Catholic.

Are you saying you would not send a kid to Notre Dame but would send them to Boston College. It’s odd to me. Jesuits do have an ethos but it rarely is that much different than other colleges (except crazy ones like AveMaria). [/quote]
