Wow, that's a good deal.  I assumed Odysseys were over $40,000.

We were recently at a Honda dealer and looking at CRVs.  Not my favorite car, but looking nonetheless.  The base and mid-trim levels were around $30,000 - $35,000.  Additionally, this Honda dealer had a "market adjustment" price on their cars.  This was $3,500 added to the sticker price of most new Hondas on the lot.  Sales guy attributed this to demand, COVID, and supply chain issues.  Needless to say, this made our decision easy.  No way were we paying $3,500 over sticker.  We ended up getting a 2022 Subaru Outback for $32,000.  Not a sexy car, but comfortable enough and goes great in the snow, which we like since we take trips out to Canaan Valley to ski.

To, OP, with $1,000 car payment.  Hope you enjoy your car.  I could barely bring myself to spend over 30k on a car.  It's been a while since buying a car and was conditioned to spend no more than 25k.  Realize that times have changed, but 60k for a car is a lot.
